We ALL start on the floor in pole fitness! Gravity is a real thing—so we need to learn how to engage those essential pole-trick muscles right on the floor. 🏋️♀️ If straight conditioning feels a bit "meh" to you, this class is the perfect substitute!
Even if you aren't into pole fitness yet, this stands alone as a killer, high-energy workout! Floor-work classes blend fluid dance flow with foundational floor tricks that translate directly to the pole, regardless of your experience level. ⚡ You will condition the exact timing of muscle contractions needed for advanced movement, helping you build a level of poise and unstoppable confidence you’ll carry right out the studio door! 👑
What to Expect
🫁 Aerobic Zone 1–3: Get your heart pumping with an expanded cardiovascular challenge ranging from low-to-moderate stamina work up to higher tempo intervals!
💪 Anaerobic Strength: Crush your goals and target your wrists, arms, shoulders, chest, back, and your psoas/glute complex!
🤸♀️ End-Range Flexibility: Safely push your limits and expand your active range of motion.
🎯 Balance Engagement: Learn to master your center of gravity to propel yourself exactly where you want to go (and, you know, successfully gravity-proof yourself so you don't face-plant mid-strut).
🧠 Memory Work: Boost your brainpower with fun, high-energy choreography blocks!
✨ Personal Style: Unlock your inner dancer and develop your unique movement expression.
👠 Heels Practice: Point your toes, fire up your leg strength, and work those ankles to strut, walk, and move flawlessly in heels!
What to Wear & Bring
| What to Wear | What to Bring |
|---|---|
| 👖 Moveable Layers: Stretchy pants (so you can see your muscle contractions and move freely) alongside a sports bra, top, or loose tee. | 💧 Hydration & Fuel: Plenty of water and a snack (complex carbs or protein recommended to fuel your body). |
| 🛡️ Protection: Socks and knee pads are highly recommended to prevent floor abrasions while dancing! | 👠 Footwear: Bare feet are great! Heels are optional but highly recommended after 2 classes. Please use designated dance soles. |
💡 Not sure about heels? Just ask your instructor! Don't be embarrassed at all—we want to make sure you don't spend money on shoes you can't
